While being one of the most visited cities in Spain, few people know that a few kilometres from Madrid, there is a great natural diversity. The Guadarrama National Park is the heart of the natural spaces that surround Madrid. In La Pedriza, where huge granite blocks create a landscape close to the ones seen in films of the Lord of the Rings, we can hike and try to get lost for a time into nature, finding goats and vultures easily.
